Batur Sonmez was born in Istanbul. He started his first experimental electronic industrial project in 1997. He is an audio visual artist. His style varies between industrial electronic and noise-based experimental sounds to improvisation ... He has a lot of music projects such as Analog Suicide, Mindscan, Btr. Unit, Dadaloop, Vertebra, Radiophonik, Dead Frequencies, AVST , etc... in order to widen and liven up "experimental electronic noise music" and "contemporary art" in Turkey. He works on sound art, video art, multimedia & short-film. He lives and works in Istanbul.

Atom Music Atom Media, First one being music, the other being a movement where young and idealist artists join together for the purpose of contemporary arts in Turkey and worldwide.
It first came to life by Batur Sonmez in December 1997.
